Fixing Notification Issues

modONE sends important alerts, reminders, and status updates by email and text message (SMS). If team members are not receiving notifications, the steps below will help resolve the most common issues.

Email

Sender address: [email protected]

Most email delivery issues are caused by spam or junk filtering.

Steps to Improve Delivery

  1. Add modONE to your contacts Create a new contact in your email program named modONE Notifications with the address [email protected]. This signals to your mail provider that modONE messages are legitimate.

  2. Check your Junk or Spam folder If you find a message from modONE there, mark it as “Not Spam” or “Move to Inbox.”

  3. Whitelist modONE in your email security settings

    • For corporate or security-filtered environments, ask your IT administrator to whitelist:

    • For Microsoft 365 or Gmail, add these to your “safe senders” or “approved domains” list.

  4. Avoid using “Unsubscribe” or “Report Junk” on system messages Reporting a modONE email as spam can block future notifications, including password resets and urgent alerts.

  5. Verify your email address in modONE Make sure the email address in your team member profile is correct and active.

  6. Still not receiving messages? Contact your IT administrator to confirm that messages from SendGrid (modONE’s email delivery partner) are not being filtered or blocked.

Text Message

Sender numbers: 90192 (short code), 904-601-0097 (backup number)

Beginning November 1, 2025, modONE will transition to short code 90192 as our primary text messaging number. If a message cannot be sent using the short code, it will automatically be delivered from our 10-digit backup number (904) 601-0097.

Text message issues usually happen when the modONE number isn’t saved in the team member's contacts or when their mobile carrier blocks messages from short codes.

Steps to Improve Delivery

  1. Save modONE as a contact

    • Name: modONE Notifications

    • Number: 90192 Saving the sender helps prevent your device from flagging the messages as spam.

  2. Check for short-code blocking

    • Some mobile plans block short-code messages by default.

    • Contact your carrier and request that short codes be enabled on your line.

  3. Verify your subscription status

    • If you previously replied STOP, messages are automatically paused.

    • To resume receiving texts, reply START to 90192.

  4. Confirm your phone number

    • Ensure your correct mobile number is listed in your modONE profile.

  5. Check your device settings

    • Make sure 90192 is not blocked, silenced, or filtered by “Do Not Disturb” mode or spam protection.

Best Practices

  • Save [email protected] , 90192 ,and 904-601-0097 as trusted contacts.

  • Avoid creating filters or forwarding rules that move modONE messages out of your inbox.

  • Update your contact information promptly if your email or phone number changes. In the Team Member portal, choose My Profile and follow the prompts.
