Send an Alert

Alerts let you quickly communicate important information to your team. They are designed for time-sensitive updates, safety notices, or other high-priority messages that require immediate attention.

The Alert Composer guides you through a simple process:

  • Select Recipients – Choose who should receive the Alert.

  • Compose the Message – Add a subject, nudge, details, and optional enhancements like a video or call to action.

  • Review & Send – Preview your Alert and resolve any validation errors before sending.

  • Alert History – Track delivery, monitor engagement, update due dates, or clone Alerts for reuse.

Note for Aggregators Aggregators can also send Alerts to their Member Organizations. After selecting which organizations to include, you can apply the same filters (Location, Job, Role, or individual Team Members) within each one.

When to Use an Alert

Use Alerts when you need to quickly reach the right people with important or urgent information. Common examples include:

  • Safety updates – Communicate weather warnings, hazard notices, or equipment issues.

  • Shift or schedule changes – Notify employees of last-minute adjustments.

  • Urgent instructions – Provide fast, clear direction in response to an incident.

  • Compliance needs – Request acknowledgment or confirmation of critical policies or procedures.

Alerts are transparent, auditable, and actionable — giving you full visibility from the moment you send a message through its completion.
