Generate Content (SafetyBot)

SafetyBot is an AI-powered content creator that quickly and easily develops safety content tailored to your needs.

Overview

SafetyBot provides two modes of operation: Guided and Free Form. Guided mode prompts you for your desired topic and output form (e.g., toolbox talk, discussion guide, safety tip) and takes care of constructing the request to SafetyBot. Once the initial content is generated, you are presented with a number of Refinement and Enhancement options. Free Form mode lets you interact directly with SafetyBot using a familiar chatbot-style interface. You can switch between Guided and Free Form mode as your needs dictate.

To activate Guided Mode, slide the mode switch to the left. To activate Free Form Mode, slide the mode switch to the right.

SafetyBot maintains all of the interactions in a conversation as "context" and provides answers to prompts based on that context. If you change the focus of your questions (i.e., "change the subject"), modONE recommends starting a new conversation.

Guided Mode

To create content using Guided Mode:

Topic Settings

  1. Enter a Safety Topic (e.g., Slips, Trips & Falls)

  2. If you want SafetyBot to emphasize some aspect of the Safety Topic (e.g., Wet Surfaces), enter it in the optional Emphasis field.

  3. Enter the Output Type (e.g., Toolbox Talk, Discussion Guide, Safety Minute, etc.).

  4. If you want SafetyBot to tailor the content to a particular industry, click the "Industry Specific?" checkbox and choose an industry from the dropdown selector.

  5. Click the "Compose Content" Button. After a moment, SafetyBot will begin streaming the result. Note that while SafetyBot is working (as noted by the rotating red busy spinner), all controls are disabled.

  6. Once the content is generated, you can edit the response (see Response Editing instructions) and/or Refine and Enhance the content.

Refinement Parameters (optional)

  1. Click the Reading Level dropdown to choose a reading level (6th - 12th grade).

  2. Click the Desired Tone dropdown to choose a tone (Engaging, Formal, Informal).

  3. Click the Word Count dropdown to choose a word count (250, 500, 750, or 1,000 words).

  4. To construct a quiz based on the safety topic output, click the quiz type dropdown, choose a type (Multiple Choice, True/False, or True/False and Multiple Choice), choose the number of questions (1-5) and click the "Construct" button.

Free Form Mode

Team Content Export

To Export SafetyBot content to the Team Content library, the SafetyBot responses are mapped to the various components of Team Content. Click the "Export to Team Content..." button to launch the Content Exporter.

Each SafetyBot Response shows up as a block of text on the left-hand side of the exporter. modONE Team Content elements show up on the right-hand side of the exporter.

At the top of each SafetyBot Content block, buttons appear that, when clicked, add that text to the indicated Nudge, Detail, or Questions element of modONE Team Content. Note that these options will vary depending on the SafetyBot text. Clicking the button will append the text to the bottom of the chosen element.

Text added to the Title, Nudge, and Detail sections of modONE Team Content can be manually edited as SafetyBot content is added. The Comprehension Questions cannot be edited here - once the export is complete, they can be further edited in the quiz editor.

Once the mapping is complete, click the "Create modONE Team Content" button to begin the export. When the export is complete, a message will appear indicating that the content was successfully created in draft status. Head over to Team Content to review, update, and publish.

Response Editing

Two icons appear beside each SafetyBot Response:

Editing the response "in place" updates the context for SafetyBot so it can factor your edits into subsequent responses.
