Manage Images

modONE supports uploading and managing images to supplement documentation. This guide provides instructions for using this capability.

To upload an image, click the icon and follow the prompts. Once the image is uploaded, the Image Viewer is displayed.

Here, options to add a caption/notes and to annotate the image are presented. Click the menu dropdown for additional options.

When annotation mode is activated, annotation options will appear.

Click an option to activate the desired annotation. Options specific to that annotation type will appear.

Select Mode

Selects an annotation and allows it to be updated. Click Select and then click the annotation. Once selected, options appropriate to the type of annotation will appear.

Drawing Mode

Draw directly on the image. Click draw, adjust available options, and draw on the image.

Shapes Mode

Draw a shape on the image. Click Shapes, adjust available options, and draw on the image. Shape options include Ellipse, Line, Rectangle, and Triangle.

Text Mode

Add text to the image. Click Text, adjust available options, and type text on the image.

In the Main Menu, click Save to make the annotations part of the image.

Note that once the Image Viewer is closed, the annotations can no longer be edited (i.e., they become part of the image).

When the Image Viewer is closed, it can be reactivated by clicking the icon.
