The Content Options popup can be activated in several ways:
When scheduling content using the Advanced Scheduling or Send Now controls.
Clicking content on the calendar (the horizontal bar containing the content title) that is scheduled in the future or active (the call to action has not expired).
Note that the options displayed when activating content options will vary based on the content status.
When content options are activated, the standard options will be displayed. To reveal advanced options, click "Advanced Options..."
To choose an option, click the check box beside the desired option. Clicking the check box will reveal other associated settings (if applicable).
When one or more advanced options are activated, a red dot will appear in the upper left-hand corner of the Advanced Options title bar.
The send date field can be updated to a different date. This date must be tomorrow or later.
A call to action (CTA) indicates an action that the recipient must take for the content to be set to confirmed status for that recipient. When activating Content Options, this option is checked by default. See the Call to Action guide for step-by-step instructions.
To enable the attendance module for this content, click the checkbox beside Take Attendance. Note that this option will only be visible when a call to action is defined for this content. For more information on the Attendance process, see the Manage Attendance guide.
The "Location Lead First" option is enabled when the Attendance checkbox is checked. When checked, this option enforces the rule that the Location Lead (defined when maintaining locations in Organization Settings) must respond to the call to action before attendance is available to their Team Members.
Note that if a Location Lead is not defined for a given location, the Location Lead First setting will not be enforced.
This option will be visible if a comprehension quiz is associated with this content.
Click the checkbox beside Use Quiz Associated with this content
If attendance is enabled, two options will appear: 1) Attendance and 2) Content (if attendance is not enabled, the only choice will be Content).
Click the checkbox beside Attendance to present the quiz when a Team Member logs their attendance.
Click the checkbox beside Content to present the quiz when a Team Member reviews the content in the content viewer.
Setting a recurring schedule rule will activate the content on the scheduled date and automatically reschedule the content based on this rule. Each rule has two components:
Interval (an integer)
Time Frame (Days, Weeks, Months (Days in Month), Months (Days of Week))
Pro Tip: Recurring Schedule Rules are often used for regularly scheduled meeting reminders (e.g., Monthly Safety Meetings) or seasonal reminders (e.g., High Heat Precautions in mid-summer).
The following is a guide to each rule type:
Days: Content will repeat daily at the specified interval. For example, if the interval is set to 2 and the Time Frame is Daily, the content will repeat every other day.
Weeks: Content will repeat on a weekly schedule at the specified interval. When you choose Weeks as the timeframe, you can specify the specific days of the week the content will be scheduled. In the example below, the content will recur every Monday.
Months (Days in Month): Content will repeat monthly on specified dates. When you choose Months (Days in Month) as the timeframe, you can specify the specific dates on which the content will be scheduled. In the example below, the content will recur every other month on the 15th and the last day of the month.
Months (Days of Week): Content will repeat monthly on specified days. When you choose Months (Days of Week) as the timeframe, you can specify a day coupled with when the day occurs within the month (e.g., First, Second, Third, etc.). In the example below, the content will recur every month on the second Thursday of the Month.
Team Members are notified when new content is available for review. These notifications are sent at the time set at the Organization level (see Manage My Organization for details). When scheduling content, you can change this timing. Note that this change only applies to the content being scheduled.
Click the checkbox beside Customize Notification Send Time
Update the email send time and text send time
If a communication channel is deactivated, a warning icon will appear beside that channel. This warning is for information only. The custom notification send time will only apply to the active communication channel(s) at the time of processing.
When content is presented to a Team Member, a message consistently appears at the bottom of the content viewer. This message often contains the year's safety theme or brief instructions on who to call if a team member is injured. This message is set at the Organization level (see Manage My Organization for details).
When scheduling content, you can customize this message. Note that this change only applies to the content being scheduled.
Click the checkbox beside Customize Theme Message
Update the message accordingly
When you have completed selecting and setting content options, click the "Validate and Schedule Content" button. modONE will conduct a series of validation checks and schedule the content. If an issue is encountered during validation, a message will appear describing the issue, and the content will be placed in suspense. Suspended content will appear in purple on the calendar. To resolve the issue, click on the content, update the options, and click the "Validate and Schedule Content" button to revalidate.
Pro Tip: When more than one piece of content is scheduled in the same timeframe that both have the attendance module activated, ensure there is no overlap between recipient populations. This is the most common reason for suspended content.
The "Change Content" button allows you to replace the selected content. Click this button for a list of published content. This window contains the same search and preview functions as the Content Chooser on the Scheduling page. Click the icon to the right of the content you want to use instead of the currently selected content.
Clicking the Set Filter Icon () will activate the Recipient Filter dialogue. The Recipient Filter tells modONE which Team Members are within the scope of this content. See the Recipient Filter Guide for detailed instructions.
