Scheduling Overview

The scheduling page includes three sections: Content Calendar, the Daily Schedule and the Content Chooser.

Content Calendar

The content calendar provides a visual representation of scheduled content. The following is a brief description of each control found on the calendar:

  • Click or to display the previous or next month, respectively

  • Click to switch from calendar view to an agenda view. When you are in agenda view, this icon will display as . Click to return to the calendar view.

  • Click to jump to today's date

  • Click to download the schedule as a .csv file

Scheduled content is represented on the calendar as horizontal bars. The length of the bar indicates how many days the content is active. Active content means that the call to action has not yet expired. Clicking a horizontal bar behaves differently depending upon the status of the content:

  • Scheduled: Activates the daily schedule view and displays a pop-up that provides all available configuration options

  • Active: Activates the daily schedule view and displays a pop-up to adjust the call-to-action dates

  • Expired: Activates the daily schedule view

Daily Schedule

The daily schedule shows the content scheduled or active for the chosen day. The title of the content is included in this view, along with several "at-a-glance" indicators and actions. The available actions depend upon the content status (scheduled, active, expired).

Content Chooser

The Content Chooser is where the scheduled date and content are chosen. You can also manage default quick schedule rules by clicking the icon (see One-Click Scheduling guide for more information) and saved filters by clicking the icon (see Saved Filters guide for more information).

You can filter and search for published content based on available criteria (see the Content Filter guide for more information). Each available content includes the title, when it was last sent, and when it is scheduled next. You can view the content by clicking the icon. There are three icons to the right of each title - each represents a different way of adding content to the schedule.
